“Zatanna” Rumored To Be In Development

Warner Bros. Picture is rumored to be in the process of developing a new live-action DC film centering around magic-wielding superhero Zatanna Zatara reports DCEU Mythic

Created by Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson, Zatanna Zatara is the daughter of a famous stage magician. She inherited his father’s magical powers and career as a professional illusionist. Her powers include the ability to control the elements, telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, and manipulation of reality.

The project is reportedly separate from Bad Robot’s previously announced project about “Justice League Dark” in which Zatanna features as the character. If the report is true, this would mark her live-action film debut though the character has appeared in numerous animated shows and popped up on “Smallville” where actress Serinda Swan played the role.
