Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt - Battle Pass Guide

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt is available on Early Access and its Battle Pass is live, which means players can start unlocking items that will be carried over to the full version of the game. Bloodhunt is a free-to-play battle royale that has a Battle Pass with unlockable cosmetics, alongside a store where players can purchase items directly using premium currency.

Bloodhunt involves groups of vampires hunting each other on the streets of Prague. The player has access to all kinds of fancy special abilities, but they must show restraint around mortals. The Masquerade in the title comes from a law that nearly all vampires follow, where they must hide the secret of their identity from mortals. If the player acts like a vampire around mortals in Bloodhuntthen all other players on the map will see their position.

The unlockable items in Bloodhunt are cosmetic in nature and don't affect the gameplay. The developers have promised that there won't be any pay-to-win mechanics and the paid items are just aesthetics. They include outfits, eyewear, piercings, tattoos, player icons, experience point boosters, and emotes. The player can unlock some items for free, but the bulk of them are restricted to the Battle Pass.

The Battle Pass costs 950 Tokens to purchase. It's possible to earn Tokens through in-game play, but the quickest way is to purchase them directly. The current Token cost is 1000 for £7.99/$9.99, 2800 for £19.99/$2499, 5000 for £29.99/$39.99, and 13,500 for £69.99/$99.99. Once the Battle Pass is purchased, the player will receive the Survivalist outfit, the Maverick eyewear, the Ophidian and Meander player icons, and an XP Boost. They will also gain access to a hundred tiers of unlockable content, with eighty pieces being restricted to the Battle Pass. The Tokens can also be spent on items in the Flash Store, which currently includes outfits and emotes.

The player can unlock new tiers by earning experience points, which is done through playing the game. There are daily and weekly challenges that can be completed for bonus experience points, such as playing as specific clans, or performing diablerie a certain number of times. Players can skip the first twenty tiers by paying 2400 Tokens, which is one of the purchase options available in the Battle Pass menu. Check the Challenges tab when in Elysium to learn more about what the current daily and weekly challenges are and what they're worth.
