Big Brother: Julie Chen Names Xavier & Tiffany Strongest Cookout Members
Longtime Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves has named Xavier Prather and Tiffany Mitchell the strongest players within the Cookout alliance. Originally, the Cookout alliance was formed within the first few days of the contestants being inside the Big Brother house. This six-person dominant alliance is made up of Xavier and Tiffany, as well as Derek Fraizer, Kyland Young, Azah Awasum, and Hannah Chaddha.
The Cookout alliance has been running the house for many weeks now. Earlier in the season, Tiffany devised a master plan to ensure the group would make it to the final six together. Tiffany advised each of the alliance members to find a close ally who was not a part of the Cookout. In doing so, the alliance would be covered up by these sets of duos that could be used as pawns. For instance, Derek Xiao, who was another ally outside the Cookout alliance, was evicted from the Big Brother 23 house last week. So far, this plan has been very successful for the group.
Now, Julie has weighed in on which members of the Cookout alliance have been playing the best game. During an interview with EW, Julie named both Xavier and Tiffany as the strongest members inside the Cookout alliance. As a whole, Julie is not surprised by the success of The Cookout alliance. However, she is very impressed. The interviewer asked Julie which two players she thinks will have "more long-term power" within the six-person alliance. To Julie, this was a tough question to answer.
Although she was torn on her answer, Julie discussed Xavier's game strategy so far. Xavier has not caused any issues within the alliance this summer, which ultimately puts him in a really good spot in the game. On the other hand, Julie noted that because Xavier will be "really hard to beat in a final 2," so his allies might need to evict him sooner rather than later. As for Tiffany, she also has a very good chance of making it far according to Julie. Last Thursday, Tiffany won her first Head of Household of the summer. Despite the fact that Tiffany's HOH was overthrown by the new High Roller's Room twist, Julie thinks that fans should not "underestimate the power of prayer."
Both Xavier and Tiffany have been playing very different games. Alas, they are both very strong competitors in their own ways. Week after week, they've played some role in setting the house's target of the week despite not necessarily always holding the power. If it comes down to Tiffany and Xavier sitting in the final two chairs next to each other on finale night this September, the jurors will have a very hard decision to make. Overall, both of them are definitely deserving of winning the $750,000 grand prize. Thus, it'll ultimately come down to which Cookout alliance member will have a better final argument to the jury members before their vote.
Big Brother 23 airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
