Rise of Skywalker Wasted 4 Opportunities For Christensen's Anakin Return

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was supposed to be the culmination of the Skywalker Saga, yet it was missing who is arguably Star Wars’ most important character – Anakin Skywalker. Although both Hayden Christensen's portrayal of Anakin and the Star Wars prequels were met with a lot of criticism in the early 2000s, Star Wars has recently welcomed the prequel trilogy and its legacy. Hayden Christensen reprised his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in Obi-Wan Kenobi, and while it was satisfying to see Anakin and Obi-Wan interacting again, Christensen’s best Star Wars return could have been in The Rise of Skywalker.
