Bachelor In Paradise: Blake Moynes Will 'Stir The Pot' In Season 8

Bachelor Nation star Blake Moynes hints that fans may see him "stir the pot" on Bachelor In Paradise season 8. Viewers were first introduced to Blake as a contestant on The Bachelorette season 16, in which he vied for Tayshia Adams' heart after Clare Crawley's early departure. A year later, Blake became engaged to Katie Thurston after he returned for The Bachelorette season 17. Unfortunately, Blake and Katie's relationship was shaky from the start, and the two broke up in October 2021. Just weeks later to Blake and fans' surprise, Katie announced that she was dating John Hersey, who was also a competitor on her Bachelorette season.

Although Blake has now had two ultimately-unsuccessful chances at finding love, the 31-year-old has expressed an interest in signing up for Bachelor In Paradise. In February, Blake explained that his failed engagement to Katie has been tough to get over, and that he hasn't dated much because the experience has made him pickier. Two months later in April, however, Blake revealed during an Instagram Q&A that he would be willing to put his heart on the line again if the Bachelor In Paradise circumstances were right.

During another Instagram Q&A on May 30, Blake again teases his future with Bachelor In Paradise while preparing to travel to Los Angeles. Responding to one person that just asks, "Paradise?" Blake jokes that it's "the most asked question," he has gotten since "the beginning of time." Confirming that fans of The Bachelorette and The Bachelor that they should expect to see him in Mexico, Blake simply says "yes," before detailing his future travel plans. After performing shark research The Bahamas with former Bachelorette season 16 co-stars Zac Clark and Noah Erb, Blake plans to go "straight to the beach in Mexico," to "stir the pot fashionably late."

Fans are split on how serious Blake's Instagram answer is, with Redditors in a thread started by u/Sometimes1233 debating how many of Blake's claims are true. Many think that Blake will be on Bachelor In Paradise and is using shark research as a cover-up, while others believe that Blake is messing around and will not actually be going to Mexico. Since Blake lives in Ontario, some people think that Blake could even find love on Bachelor In Paradise Canada. If Blake does return to ABC, this will be his third television appearance, although Blake wouldn't be the first to appear more than twice in the Bachelor franchise. Dean Unglert is a familiar face, for example, while Chris Bukowski has been on a three separate Bachelor In Paradise seasons.

Despite Blake's declaration on Instagram, the cast for Bachelor In Paradise season 8 is still unconfirmed, although Reality Steve revealed some rumored contestants earlier this week. While Reality Steve's list doesn't include Blake, there have plenty of surprising appearances by former Bachelor Nation stars over the years, especially considering that new additions are introduced after every rose ceremony. Before fans can meet the incoming season 8, however, they still have to tune into The Bachelorette season 19 with co-leads Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey in July. Whether Blake will indeed show up in Mexico alongside host Jesse Palmer and bartender Wells Adams, Bachelor In Paradise season 8 is expected to be full of love, drama, and entertainment when it premieres later this year.
