Legends Of Tomorrow Season 7 Is On Netflix 10 Days After Finale

DC's Legends of Tomorrow season 7 is already on Netflix, just 10 days after it aired its finale. Legends of Tomorrow is one of the longest-running shows in the Arrowverse, which is the group of The CW's DC Comics-based series that began with Arrow in 2012. The show, which follows a motley crew of heroes and villains who have been assembled to travel through time and defend the universe, currently stars Caity Lotz, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan, Olivia Swann, Adam Tsekhman, Matt Ryan, Shayan Sobhian, Lisseth Chavez, Amy Louise Pemberton, and Nick Zano as Nate Heywood AKA Steel.

Legends of Tomorrow season 7, which saw the Legends trapped in time and facing a variety of secrets coming to light, aired its finale on March 2, 2022. In addition to writing off a main character who is exiting the show, Legends introduced Donald Faison as Booster Gold, a time-traveling rogue who proves to be untrustworthy. It currently remains to be seen if The CW, which is in dire financial straits and currently being sold by its parent company, sees fit to renew Legends of Tomorrow season 8 and further explore the character.

Luckily, no matter what happens, Netflix is now streaming DC's Legends of Tomorrow season 7 in its entirety, just 10 days after the finale aired. For those who don't have access to the network or haven't been able to catch up with the series as it aired live, this will provide the perfect opportunity to catch up and meet Booster Gold. It will be entirely possible to binge the entire season while the discussion over this new character is still ongoing, as season 7 only ran for a total of 13 episodes.

While Netflix does have deals to premiere series in certain territories a short while after they air, the swiftness of this turnaround is interesting given their relationship with The CW. One major issue that has resulted in the sale of the network is the lapsing of their overall deal with Netflix, resulting in many of their programs being shifted over to either Paramount+ or HBO Max. This ten-day window may be an attempt to snag viewers before the show leaves their service, or just a particularly intriguing element of the deal as it was already set down.

With the future of DC's Legends of Tomorrow in question, it might behoove fans to strike while the iron is hot. If the show reports strong streaming numbers, that could potentially bode well. It may boost the show's chance of getting renewed once the in-flux company settles down enough to make decisions around shows that are still on the bubble.
