BiP: Ashley Iaconetti Not Planning To Breastfeed Son

Bachelor in Paradise star Ashley Iaconetti has decided she would not be breastfeeding her one-week-old son as she looks out to prevent any sort of stress on her body. Ashley and her spouse Jared Haibon welcomed the little one on January 31 and have since been reeling in the afterglow of being new parents. The Tv stars were more than thrilled to meet their bundle of joy while sharing the good news to fans.

Jared took to social media, starting a hearty video of himself, letting fans know that baby Demitri Dawson was bone. The happy new dad shared that the baby was healthy, adding that his wife of two years was faring well after smooth labor. Jared did not hold back the rush of joy coursing through him as he gushed over his newborn baby. Prior to baby Dawsons birth, Ashley walked fans through her pregnancy journey, as she kept it real every step of the way. The star opened up on all her symptoms to help other women get sensitized about all the development that comes with being pregnant. Ashley and her husband also informed fans of the baby's name a few weeks before he was born, mentioning that they drew inspiration from Leonardo DiCaprio's Titanic character, Jack Dawson.

Now Ashley is revealing that she prefers not to breastfeed baby Dawson as she looks out for her body. During her interview with Us Weekly, the mom-of-one explained that her decision "made everything a little bit easier." The 33-year-old stated that not breastfeeding was a "nice way" for her body to take a break. However, she added that it also made her a better version of herself.

She continued stating her reason for opting out of breastfeeding, "The past nine months have been so hard on my body. I just kind of wanted to put all my focus on him and not to have any sort of struggle that distracted me from being my best self." Ashley, who shared Dawson's first TV appearance, explained that she had seen people try to breastfeed and become stressed out, and she didn't want that for herself. The star mom included that her decision was also good for her son, who seems to love his bottle already.

It is safe to say that Bachelor in Paradise star Ashley experienced lots of changes aid pregnancy hence, her decision to take breastfeeding off the table. However, she might not be able to prevent social media mom watchers who would share their mixed feelings about her nursing decision. In all, Ashley can be rest assured that her fans would give their full support to follow what suits her best.
