What We Know About I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Season 21

Fans of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! will be thrilled to know that the popular UK reality series is back with an all-new and entertaining cast for season 21, and it's time to share information about the show. In the survival series, hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are putting the cast through more grueling challenges.  

The show first aired in 2002 in the UK, and since then, there have been several international spinoffs. Many fans have compared the long-running reality show to Survivor, with the key difference being the fact that the entire cast of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here is famous. Akin to Survivor, the show is meant to test the resolve of participants as they live in extreme conditions and compete in challenges. Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans may recall that Caitlyn Jenner appeared on I'm A Celebrity back in 2019. The winner of the show is dubbed that season's King or Queen of the Jungle.

The first nineteen I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! seasons were filmed in Australia. The majority of the seasons were filmed in the jungle in New South Wales. Due to Covid-19 travel restrictions during seasons 20 and 21, the filming location was moved to Abergele, North Wales. The celebrities camp at Abergale's Gwrych Castle, which was originally built in the early 1800s. It is currently in ruins, so it provides little luxury to the celebrities who live in it while their seasons are filmed.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! season 21 started airing on November 21, 2021, with twelve new castmates from various backgrounds. The season features several popular UK actors, including Adam Woodyatt, Danny Miller, and Simon Gregson. It also features presenters Louise Minchin, Snoochie Shy, and Richard Madeley. David Ginola, Kadeena Cox, and Matty Lee are three athletes that have also joined the survival competition. The cast is rounded out with former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips, singer Frankie Bridge, and musician, Naughty Boy.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! has been in the news recently after several live episode cancelations in a row. The show's filming location was affected by Storm Arwen, which was severe, and this led to an unprecedented evacuation of all contestants. Television presenter Richard Madeley visited the hospital and had to leave the show for good, and his departure brought the total number of cast members down to 11. Fans can't wait to see which of the all-star survival reality show's cast members will be dubbed this year's King or Queen once the show is back on schedule.
