Skyrim: How to Get The Sword of Jyggalag | Screen Rant
The Sword of Jyggalag is a weapon Artifact in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition of the Daedric Prince of Order, Jyggalag. While the sword possesses a distinctive appearance, its damage stats are far from remarkable, yet it can be sold for a hefty sum of 3,200 Gold. Unlike other Daedric Artifacts in The Elder Scrolls V, the Sword of Jyggalag is not imbued with any unique enchantments. However, Skyrim fans can instill their own enchantments to the sword at an Arcane Enchanter. Additionally, tempering Jyggalag's blade requires an Ebony Ingot, and those with the Daedric Smithing perk can double the enhancements.
To obtain the Sword of Jyggalag in Skyrim, players will need to have the Saints and Seducers Creation installed. Fortunately, this add-on is accessible for all Special Edition owners, meaning players do not need to purchase the Anniversary Edition upgrade to access its content. To start the mod's questline, players must speak to a familiar Khajiit merchant found outside the walls of Whiterun.
The Sword of Jyggalag can be found in the Solitude Sewers, a location in Skyrim that becomes accessible in the second half of the Saints and Seducers questline. To begin, talk to Ri'saad, the trader of the Khajiit Caravan that travels between Whiterun and Markarth. If he isn't in front of Whiterun, use the "wait" action in front of the city's outer gates to have him appear. Choosing the dialogue option, "I've heard you've been running into trouble along the road," will initiate the Creation's first main quest, "Balance of Power."
First, the Dragonborn will be led to the minor faction camps of the Saints and Seducers. Then, after slaying their bandit leaders and reading their journals, the player will be tasked with venturing into the sewers beneath Skyrim's capital city of Solitude. Unlike the dank, grimy sewers of Riften, Solitude Sewers is connected to an expansive, well-lit root cave of winding tunnels crawling with hostile Elytra Nymphs and Spriggans. It is recommended for players to prepare Healing and Magicka potions in advance before entering the underground pathway, as they will encounter many enemies below.
At the end of the labyrinthine passages in Solitude Sewers, players will confront Thoron, the rogue conjurer and main antagonist of Saints and Seducers. Thoron will cast lightning spells at the player during this final boss battle and summon Golden Saints and Dark Seducers at his side. To beat him, use weakening spells and shouts to make him vulnerable and focus on taking out his minions first once they've been summoned. Defeating Thoron will bring Skyrim's Saints and Seducers questline to its conclusion, and players will be able to take Sword of Jyggalag as their prize, along with other valuable loot in the area.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
