Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Cast & Character Guide
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness reunites major characters and introduces some newcomers — these are the Japanese and American voice actors who portray them. Infinite Darkness features fan-favorite Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield on a mission together after the White House has suffered both a cyber attack and an infiltration by zombies.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness takes place between the events of video games Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, and between the CG movies Resident Evil: Degeneration and Damnation. As such, it doesn't feature characters like Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield, or Ethan Winters. What it does feature is a talented cast of voice actors that have worked on popular animated movies, anime series, or video games like Bleach and Metal Gear Solid.
Here's a guide to Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness' cast and who voices them.
Leon S. Kennedy, introduced in the original Resident Evil 2, is portrayed by veteran Japanese voice actor Toshiyuki Morikawa. Morikawa is known for his deep voice and roles as Sephiroth in Final Fantasy, Minato in Naruto, and Dante in Devil May Cry. Leon's American voice actor is Nick Apostolides, who has experience voicing characters such as Frank Bowers in Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Leon himself in the 2019 Resident Evil 2 remake.
TerraSave member Claire Redfield, also introduced in Resident Evil 2, teams up with Leon once again in Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. She's portrayed by YÅ«ko Kaida, who voiced Ikumi Unagiya in Bleach, Mayumi Yamano in Persona 4: The Animation, and Belo Betty in One Piece. She has provided the voice for the Japanese dub of characters such as Poison Ivy in Batman: Arkham Knight, and Lara Croft in the latest Tomb Raider video games and movie. Kaida has also voiced Claire in Resident Evil: Degeneration and Resident Evil: Revelations 2. Stephanie Panisello, who provides the English voice for Claire, has voiced the character in Monster Hunter: World and the 2019 Resident Evil 2 remake.
War hero Jason makes his debut in Resident Evil Infinite Darkness. He's voiced by Fumihiko Tachiki, who played Menthuthuyoupi in Hunter x Hunter, Homunculus Sloth in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Gill in Street Fighter V. He formed the band 2HEARTS with Leon voice actor Toshiyuki Morikawa too. Jason's American voice actor is Ray Chase, known for his performances as Ryoumen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen, Noctis Lucis Caelum in Final Fantasy XV, and Tengen Uzui in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, among others.
Tech expert Shen May also makes her debut in Resident Evil Infinite Darkness. She's played by Megumi Han, known for voicing characters such as Gon Freecss in Hunter x Hunter, young Obito in Naruto: Shippuden, and Tatami Nakagame in My Hero Academia.
