Masters of the Universe: Revelation Poster Unites 26 He-Man Characters
Netflix's Masters of the Universe: Revelation released a new poster for the upcoming series. The original television series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is based on the toy line called Masters of the Universe. However, the series is typically referred to as He-Man. Throughout two seasons from 1983 until 1985, it became one of the most popular animated shows of its time. It went on to inspire many other animated series to be created based on a similar format. There have been other He-Man-related series on television, although they didn't quite reach the heights of the original.
Netflix will be releasing a new show titled Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which was developed by Kevin Smith (Clerks). The story will be explored over two parts, with the first being released on July 23 on the streaming platform. The plot is set to follow where the original 1983 series left off after its two-season run. He-Man, Orko, Cringer, and Man-At-Arms must work together in an epic final battle against Skeletor. With Eternia on the brink of destruction, Teela must find the Sword of Power before it's too late. The fate of the universe is in their hands.
Netflix Geeked posted a brand new poster to get fans excited for the upcoming series. It features a whole lot of characters, with He-Man and Skeletor front and center. Smith himself made the series announcement, followed by him expressing his passion for the original show. He isn't looking to reinvent the series but continue telling the story from where it left off all of those years ago. In doing so, he's looking to appeal to longtime fans, as well as newcomers who may be first discovering the story. While that can be an arduous task to achieve, it's an outstanding balance if the show can deliver on that.
This new Masters of the Universe: Revelation poster is genuinely epic. While a lot is happening on the poster, the eye is naturally drawn He-Man and Skeletor at the center. The bold, contrasting colors make it even more eye-catching. The art style is gorgeous, which will undoubtedly have longtime fans wanting to hang this one up on their wall. The trailer also demonstrated powerful animation, so hopefully, its content is as captivating as the artwork. In only a few days, the epic battle for Eternia and the universe will begin.
