90 Day Fiancé: Julia Detained By Police At Airport On The Way Back To U.S.

After a long visit to her home country, 90 Day Fiancé star Julia Trubkina didn’t have an easy time returning to the United States and at one point was detained by police. It appears that on her solo trip to Russia, Julia had a great time, but getting back to her husband, Brandon, was harder than she thought. Although she’s happy to finally be back home, Julia might be a little shaken up from her brush with the law and her stressful trip back to the States.

About a month ago, Julia announced she was going to “go [to] Russia” without her husband, Brandon. This, of course, led to divorce rumors, but Julia and Brandon are still going strong. Julia just wanted to visit her family and home country after being away for so long. In the photos she shared from the trip, Julia looked like she enjoyed herself while spending time with her family, visiting local landmarks, partying with friends and even changing up her hair style.

After several weeks in Russia, it was time for 90 Day Fiancé's Julia to return home to Brandon. But her trip back was not a smooth one. In a new Instagram post, Julia relayed the details of her stressful travels. “My flight began in Russia, she said. “I was detained by the police from landing, as in my luggage brass knuckles from Thailand, they thought it was real, but it was a souvenir.” Thankfully, her interrogation by police was due to a misunderstanding, but it’s a good example of why you should never travel with weapons—even fake ones.

90 Day Fiancé's Julia went on to describe further difficulties related to COVID-19. “Because of the virus, many were not allowed to pass,” Julia added. Since the test time was 72 hours, some did not have enough of a few hours. As a result, the computer did not show my documents at first.” Many travelers have encountered problems related to the virus, and it goes to show that airports and airlines are still adjusting to new regulations. However, Julia still seemed to have a sense of humor about it. “My flight was very long and funny, a lot of details. But I went back to my husband and Simba.”

It’s clear that the 90 Day Fiancé star had a great time while in Russia, and Julia even enjoyed a few wild nights. However, the trip back was not so fun, even if Julia kept up a good attitude about it. Despite all the hardships, Julia made it home to her husband, Brandon, and beloved dog, Simba, so all’s well that ends well. But in the future, Julia will hopefully think twice before packing brass knuckles or other mafia-style weaponry.
