90 Day Fiance: Franchise Cast Members Who Ended Up With Broken Hearts

The 90 Day Fiancé franchise shows have kept viewers entertained for years, and we're ready to share information about cast members whose hearts were broken onscreen. The cast members, the plotlines, and the drama of the doomed love stories are epic. It's true that fans have seen some romantic love stories. Paola and Russ Mayfield (who took the Buss It challenge) have been together since they appeared on 90 Day Fiancé season one. Alexei and Loren Brovarnik have a happy marriage, and they are currently expecting their second child. However, they are exceptions, as a lot of franchise romances end in tears.

A few reality stars, including Molly Hopkins, Darcey Silva, and Danielle Jbali, have been unlucky in love. They came up empty-handed, at least, for a while. Molly and Danielle didn’t let this get them down, as they re-appeared on the spin-off 90 Day: The Single Life, ready to find love again. Darcey moved on to a relationship with Georgi Rusev. The women have not been the only ones to end up with broken hearts, as Jihoon Lee and Big Ed were hurt by the demise of their relationships. Breakups are tough and going through one in front of a ton of reality TV fans is even harder.

90 Day Fiancé fans are familiar with Darcey’s struggle to find love on the show. The gorgeous mom of two first put her heart on the line when she flew to the Netherlands to meet her Dutch boyfriend Jesse Meester. In the beginning, the relationship had promise. However, fans of the show soon saw the cracks beneath the surface. The couple was destined to split up. Hopeless romantic Darcey then pursued a relationship with Tom Brooks. Fans could tell this newer pairing would not last. They continually bumped heads about the status of their relationship, and it didn’t seem as though Tom took her seriously.

Darcey got her heart broken twice on the show, and viewers hoped that she would finally find her Prince Charming, and then she did. Despite all the bumps in the road, Darcey is now engaged to Georgi. She finally got her happily ever after. The third time really is the charm. In the next season of Darcey & Stacey, fans may get a sneak peek at Darcey planning the wedding.

Fans were introduced to Jihoon Lee (his GoFundMe was recently shut down) and Deavan Clegg on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. This couple's romance was rocky at best, which wasn't surprising, considering Deavan got pregnant the first time they were intimate. She then decided to uproot her life and move to South Korea. The couple faced endless challenges, from Jihoon lying about his finances to finding a suitable apartment. They both tried to make it work. Ultimately, their problems were too much for them.

Deavan ended up moving back to the United States with their child Taeyang. Deavan is now in a new relationship and Jihoon is trying to fight for custody of their son. Their situation is especially heart-breaking as Jihoon lost his wife and access to his son. Deavan and Jihoon’s situation is not ideal, as they have continually taken shots at one another since their breakup. Jihoon has taken the split the hardest. Hopefully, they’ll be able to figure out their issues before they negatively impact their toddler son.

Molly Hopkin’s 90 Day Fiancé experience with ex-husband Luis Mendez was anything but romantic. Luis failed to get along with Molly’s kids. In particular, he clashed with her older daughter Olivia, whom he inappropriately asked about her sex life. Luis did not seem interested in working on his relationship with Molly’s kids. However, Molly believed that everything would work out. It did not and they ended up getting divorced. Molly was heartbroken, and many tearful moments were captured on the show. She was devastated when the marriage broke down.

Now, Molly is appearing on 90 Day: The Single Life. Like Darcey, Molly (who discussed dating in an interview) has taken another shot at love. Fans are currently watching her relationship with police officer Kelly Brown develop. Viewers are here for it. The relationship seems genuine, although the couple still has to navigate Kelly’s desire to have a child with Molly. Fans will have to see how their story plays out on the show.

Plenty of people dislike Big Ed, with good reason. However, the reality star did experience a broken heart during his time on the show, mostly due to his own actions. Big Ed flew to the Philippines in the hopes of developing his relationship with girlfriend Rosemarie Vega, but that backfired. Although he said he wanted to be with Rose, and possibly propose, his actions pushed her away.

It was his first serious relationship in a long time, but he did not treat Rose properly and she ended up breaking up with him. Big Ed was sad, and despite the role he played in his own romantic woes, some viewers felt bad for him. Now, like a few other cast members, Big Ed is back on the market. However, some people think that his new 90 Day: The Single Life relationship with Liz was fake.

Last, but most certainly not least, we have Danielle. Hers was probably the first intense heartbreak that 90 Day Fiancé fans saw on the show. Danielle was certain that her Tunisian husband Mohamed would be her endgame; sadly, she was mistaken. She and Mohamed fought constantly and she begged him to stay. He left anyway. In response to this, Danielle attempted to get his Green Card revoked, as she felt he had committed fraud. She believed he used her to get to America. Mohamed is still in America. While she failed to get him deported, Danielle picked herself back up and has been dating.
