5 Marvel Characters The Predator Would Tear To Shreds (& 5 Who'd Stand A Chance At Surviving)

Warriors. Fighters. Survivors. For fans, this is the last thing they imagine when thinking of the Marvel Universe, a world full of gods, monsters, and heroes but also gritty and realistic fighters duking it out to see who's better. Fighters, who have a new challenger: The Predator.

This isn't just a hypothetical comment. Recently, Marvel Comics acquired the rights to the franchises of Alien and Predator (one of the 80s most rewatchable movies), allowing the two beasts to gain entry to the MU. Soon, the Predator, one of the deadliest aliens around will join the MU, and only a few heroes may be able to survive its wrath.

10 Tear To Shreds: Sabertooth

In the world of heroes and villains, one thing always remains constant: either be hunted or be the hunter. Those who are the hunter are relentless but have control and drive. The hunted are little more than animals, like the mutant Sabertooth.

Sure, Sabertooth has been shown to be able to put two and two together and some signs of intellect. Yet, at his base, the mutant is nothing more than a raving beast always killing. As such, he wouldn't last long against a ruthless hunter like the Predator.

9 Stand A Chance: Wolverine

One might say that Sabertooth is one side of a vicious coin, one that separates humans from animals. On the other side of that coin lies Logan, the Wolverine. For many, the Wolverine's seen in the same light as Sabertooth.

However, that's one side to the Wolverine. He could be a simple monster if he didn't have an ounce of control and yet, due to his slight control, Logan's able to hone his regenerating abilities and adamantium claws to face off against the Predator's own claws and take it down. Who knows, maybe he'll growl out a memorable one-liner that can join all the other greats of the franchise.

8 Tear To Shreds: Bullseye

What makes heroes, villains, and anti-heroes the same? It's not their motivations, actions, or moral qualities. Rather, it's their weaknesses. No hero nor villain is perfect and one's own hubris can easily lead to their end, like the assassin Bullseye.

It's no mystery that Bullseye is one of Marvel's more deadly assassins and would be the perfect prey for the Predator. That being said, Bullseye is known for savoring the kill a little too much. This weakness could end up being the Predators strength and lead to Bullseye's quick death.

7 Stand A Chance: Kraven The Hunter

It takes a hunter to kill a hunter. While that may not be the exact saying, it's more or less true when talking about Kraven The Hunter. A villain of Spider-Man, Kraven has always been obsessed with the hunt, similar to the Predator.

Even though he is only human, Kraven would be more than able to work his way across any terrain, use the world around him to his advantage and avoid the Predator's gaze. Much like Dutch(one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's best roles and movies), Kraven would be able to survive the Predator and finish them off.

6 Tear To Shreds: Daredevil

The problem with a lot of heroes is their need to be morally sound all the time. They hold themselves to a higher standard than most and, for someone like the blind hero Daredevil, this can be a fatal weakness.

That's not to say killing someone is good but when facing down the Predator, it's the only way. Matthew Murdoch is many things but the most violent things he ever did were either under the control of the Beast or accidental. Despite his skill, Daredevil would fall to the Predator.

5 Stand A Chance: Elektra

Funny enough, although Daredevil himself is a moral hero, he always seems to find himself in the company of killers, like his on and off girlfriend, Elektra Natchios. A trained assassin and one of the comics' best female hand-to-hand combatants who could put the MCU combatants to shame, Elektra has the same level of skill as Daredevil but unlike her "boyfriend" doesn't suffer from the same moral dilemmas.

It's no question that Elektra would be able to avoid the Predator's blasts, blades, and trickery and get in close for the killing blow and finish off the alien beast before it can even activate its self-destruct.

4 Tear To Shreds: Black Widow

A recurring problem with heroes in the Marvel Universe is that they're nothing more than human beings, people who've been through the wringer for sure but are nothing more than agents working for an organization.

Despite her expertise, the Black Widow isn't one for taking down alien assassins like the Predator. She may last longer than most and even get a few blows in, but at the end of the day, her guns will run empty, her array of skills will go dry and the Predator will claim its prey by utilizing some of the franchises most iconic weapons.

3 Stand A Chance: Black Panther

Now, being the king of a foreign nation is one thing but being the warrior king is another. Marvel has plenty of great hand to hand combatants but put them all up against the king of Wakanda and the Black Panther, T'Challa, and all pale in comparison.

It has been said that T'Challa is one of the best fighters in the MU and with the added benefit of enhanced strength and agility not to mention his suit, T'Challa would have a chance against the mighty Predator and may live to see the sunrise, more so than some movie characters.

2 Tear To Shreds: Shang Chi

At the end of the day, sometimes skill doesn't matter in the face of weaponry. If a hero has weapons up to their ears, they may stand a chance against something like the Predator. Just going in hand to hand, though, that's suicide.

There's no doubting that Shang Chi is one of Marvel's best combatants. A master of martial arts, the Kung Fu expert would catch the Predator's eye. However, his usage of hand to hand combat would falter in the face of the Predators blades and blaster and may end up joining the list of brutal kills from the Predator franchise.

1 Stand A Chance: The Punisher

Throughout this article, it's been clear that the Predator hunts the best fighters, hunters killers, those it deems worthy. And while many would fall before it's weaponry, one hero would just keep getting back up–Frank Castle, The Punisher.

Beyond his military expertise, vicious nature, and perchance for guns, Frank has the added benefit of coming back. The man's been shot, stabbed, blown up, blowtorched, and yet he keeps coming back. No matter what the Predator throws their way, sooner or later, they'd be at the mercy of the Punisher.
