Bachelorette: Bennett Jordan Reveals The Salty Secret To His Clark Kent Body
While Bennet Jordan may not have stolen Tayshia Adams' heart yet on The Bachelorette, the Harvard grad seems to be living his best life on Instagram. Somewhere between being hated for wearing a scarf in sunny Florida to refusing to breastfeed Noah Erb, Bennett became an instant fan-favorite. Of course, being called the Clark Kent of The Bachelorette adds to Bennett’s allure. But what is it that Bennett does to stay the hot topic amongst Tayshia’s boys and his fan following alike? The secret is supposedly quite salty.
The not-so-subtle pot-stirring by 14-year-old Noah seems to have doomed Bennett’s chances with Tayshia, but who’s to stop the Harvard guy from being his righteous self? While his rapping skills may have been just as ho-hum as his spelling ones, it was Bennett’s mock-proposal that pivoted his true feelings towards The Bachelorette. The season 16 star soon spilled his heart out to Tayshia and revealed a near-wedding that was called off. And while the Bachelor Nation expected Bennett to grab the group date rose, he, in turn, became busy playing good Bachelorette cop with Noah. With the drama spilling into this week, looks like Bennett showing off his vulnerable side has rubbed Tayshia the wrong way, making her give him the boot. Whether it’s not yet known if it’s Tayshia’s trust issues that didn’t make Bennett look like a potential The Bachelorette match, he is meanwhile, basking in the glory of his overnight Instagram fame.
The lover of doughnuts and green juice, Bennett shocked his 125k plus Instagram followers by posting a shirtless video. The Bachelorette fans saw Bennett flexing his bicep throughout the clip, with one even asking him, “how many tries did it take to maintain it?” And Bennett slyly replied, “It’s just sort of stuck like that post-workout. I think I need to massage it out.” However, along with Bennett’s muscles, it’s what the 36-year-old was up to in the thirst-trap video that’s more interesting. The Bachelorette’s Bennett wrote in the caption, “Love a good salt therapy session (Halotherapy) post-workout, especially this time of the year.” Wealth management consultant Bennett then explained how exactly salt helps season his hunky self. “It enhances lung capacity, improves skin, removes toxicity from the respiratory system, boosts the immune system, reduces stress, improves sleep, and gets you ready for your next spa water,” typed the well-read Harvard guy.
In his comments, The Bachelorette star who as per a fan “knew exactly what he’s doing in the video,” explained that when one inhales the salt, it travels through the sinuses and respiratory tract as it absorbs moisture, cleanses toxins, clears mucus, kills bacteria and reduces inflammation. “It also helps prevent the cold and flu,” claims Bennett.
Interestingly, fans of The Bachelorette star also noticed how he’d spelled everything right in the caption. Perhaps a little auto-correct could have gone a long way when it came to limousines for the ABC celeb. As commented by Lauren Zima on the same post, it’s “live footage of Superman on planet Krypton.” Still, while Clark Kent Bennett did save the day after the whole Clare-Dale fiasco just with his boujee-ness, The Bachelorette fans are sure to miss his antics for the rest of the season once he bids bye-bye.
The Bachelorette season 16 airs Tuesdays at 8pm EST on ABC.
