Bachelor: Contestants Who Came Back After Being Eliminated From Show
Since the beginning of The Bachelor franchise, contestants who have been eliminated will often times come back to try and win over the leads heart. More often then not it doesn't end well.
For the past couple of years every season of each franchise has had a contestant attempt to come back on the show for a second chance with the lead. Even though this huge romantic gestures seems like it may win over the lead, but usually the contestant has to face heartache again and is sent home. Here are a few contestants that attempted to come back on the show after being eliminated.
The morning after Luke was sent home by Hannah Brown during the fantasy suite date, he attempted to win her over by showing up to the rose ceremony. Luke's return did not sit well with Hannah and only made her even more angry then she already was with him. The night before, Luke shamed Hannah after she revealed she slept with someone in the top four during a fantasy suite date. Hannah was understandably angry and immediately sent him home. Luke clearly did get the message the first time.
Most recently, Bennett came back for Tayshia Adams during this past season of The Bachelorette. After being sent home during the two-on-one with Noah, Bennett wasn't pleased after he got eliminated. Just 24 hours after Tayshia sent him home, Bennett had to see her one more time and at least tell her how he felt. Tayshia did keep him around for the rose ceremony, but he went home anyway after not receiving a rose.
For those who did not read Colton Underwood's book, The First Time, you may not now that Hannah actually attempted to win over Colton after being eliminated. During his hometown date with Hannah Godwin in Alabama, Colton was ambushed by Hannah Brown while he was there. He said that she was upset about not receiving a rose and needed clarity about it. "She went off on the remaining four girls and told me they didn’t have the qualities that made her so amazing." the former football player said of the pageant queen. "It was the beast in her, roaring and raging.” (Editor's Note: Given Colton's recent actions, it's important not to take the words in his book at face value)
After being eliminated by Peter Weber during the third week of the competition, Alayah returned long enough to stir the pot and reveal the information she learned once she left The Bachelor bubble. She revealed to the group that contestant, Victoria Fuller, had dated Chase Rice, who performed for her and Peter while on a one-on-one date. Alayah's second time around with Peter did not last anyway as she was sent home during the rose ceremony that followed.
