Southern Charm: Jax Taylor Called Shep Rose A 'Bad Wedding Guest'
Shep Rose from Southern Charm claims that Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor said he was a "bad wedding guest." Shep attended Jax's wedding to Brittany Cartright, which was held in the summer. Jax and Brittany have now been married for over a year.
Taylor is the lovable villain of Vanderpump Rules, who has been breaking and melting hearts since the show launched back in 2013. The spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills follows a group of young and attractive people around as they work at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant, SUR. During the most recent season, fans watched as Jax and Brittany Cartwright tied the knot while he still battled to change his old playboy ways. Jax and Brittany managed to put forward a united front and even announced that they were expecting a baby.
While many Bravo fans question Jax's relevancy and wonder if Vanderpump Rules is about to be canceled, a lot of reality fans still listen to what Jax has to say. Taylor is now complaining about an issue that happened long ago. During an Us Weekly game, “I Can Explain,” Shep let fans in on why he believes that the bartender thought he was a poor wedding guest. The 40-year-old Charleston native and Southern Charm star revealed that the two had gotten along pretty well but that Jax had “talked smack about me on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. He said I was a bad wedding guest.” The reality star explained that he wasn’t supposed to share any media from the affair but he had gotten ahead of himself and taped a lot of the ceremony. Shep said, “I was just, like, videoing everything that’s going on. I got in big trouble!” During WWHL, Jax had told the host that Shep had been talking throughout the entire wedding. At the time he got in trouble, he had tweeted the following note to the bride and groom: "They could have been more communicative about what their guest’s social media restrictions were. But it was such a fun wedding. I was honored to be there. Maybe in the year 2050 they can come to mine.”
Bravo fans do not hold Shep Rose from Southern Charm accountable for the simple reason that viewers know exactly what Jax is like. The Vanderpump Rules star loves to have the attention on him and can often fly off the handle for the most idiotic reasons. So, Bravo fans think Shep is in the clear and hope that he will continue to be his engaging self.
Southern Charm airs Thursday at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
