Saturday Night Live
Dave Chappelle host this coming Saturday’s post-election episode of “Saturday Night Live” on NBC. The musical guest for the episode has not yet been announced.

Chappelle also hosted the post-election SNL episode in 2016 and briefly appeared in the Eddie Murphy-hosted episode just last year. He follows what has been a strong line-up for this season so far of hosts including Chris Rock, Bill Burr and John Mulaney. [Source: Variety]

Blue Bayou
Focus Features has set a Summer 2021 release date for Justin Chon’s “Blue Bayou” starring himself, Alicia Vikander, Mark O’Brien, Linh Dan Pham and Emory Cohen.

The story follows Antonio LeBlanc, a Korean adoptee raised in the United States who is forced to confront his distant past and what it means for his own future and his family’s when he unexpectedly faces deportation. [Source: THR]

The Prince
Sophie Turner (“Game of Thrones”) has joined the voice cast of HBO Max animated series “The Prince” in the role of Princess Charlotte, the daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The satire of British Royals plays out through the eyes of a young Prince George, eldest child of Prince William and Princess Kate.

Turner joins a cast that includes Orlando Bloom as Prince Harry, Alan Cumming as George’s butler Owen, Frances De La Tour as Queen Elizabeth, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton, Condola Rashad at Meghan Markle, and Iwan Rheon as Prince William. [Source: Deadline]

The Witcher
A brief glimpse of two new monsters from the second season can be seen in a fun “Monster Mash” song themed clip celebrating Netflix’s “The Witcher” that otherwise uses footage entirely from the first season. The clip was timed with the Halloween festivities on Saturday and shared over the streamer’s social media accounts. The show’s second season arrives sometime in 2021.
