The ongoing drama between Ray Fisher and Warner Bros. continues to heat up as new stories on the matter seem to emerge with increasing frequency. It all started when the Cyborg actor accused Joss Whedon of being abusive and unprofessional on the set Justice League and was enabled by producers Jon Berg and Geoff Johns. Since this Warner Bros. has gone on to release a statement debunking his claims. The drama has continued with Ray Fisher blasting Warner Bros investigation and Aquaman star Jason Momoa voicing his support for the Cyborg actor.

Adding to all this was the reveal that, despite all of the ongoing drama with Warner Bros., Ray Fisher was in deep negotiations to reprise his role as Cyborg for Ezra Miller’s upcoming film, The Flash which may have started the whole thing. According to a new report from The Wrap multiple insiders have stated that Ray Fisher was initially offered a small cameo role for the upcoming film in June of this year. Warner Bros. had not heard back from him when the Cyborg star began making his accusations against the studio. When reached out for comment, Ray Fisher’s team only spoke about the nature of his contract:

“Mr. Fisher is, and has been, under contract with WB Pictures since 2014. Per the terms of that pre-negotiated contract, the option to include Mr. Fisher as the character of Victor Stone (aka Cyborg) has always rested in the hands in WB Pictures.”

What do you all make of this latest development? Is it a coincidence that Ray Fisher made his accusations against Warner Bros. right after getting the offer to appear in Ezra Miller’s The Flash? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.

The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 3rd, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the ongoing drama between Ray Fisher and Warner Bros. and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
