Ben Mendelsohn has two very similar scenes in The Dark Knight Rises and Star Wars: Rogue One.
In the Dark Knight Rises, he's in this scene. Basically he tries to exert his power over Bane only to get put in his place when faced with real power.
In Rogue One, he also steps out of line when confronting Vader, only to be put in place by being force choked.
Not to mention, both Bane and Vader are imposing figures with breathing problems. Ben needs to really know when and when not to speak up.
