Too Hot to Handle Reunion: Bryce Performs Song about Personal Growth

During the Netflix Too Hot to Handle reunion episode, Bryce Hirschberg performed a song about how the retreat changed him. The crooner never misses a chance to show off his vocal chops.

Bryce may have come into the show late, but immediately drew the audience and the other contestants in by performing his original tunes with the help of his trusty keyboard. He brought humor and lightness to the island which not only helped him open up emotionally to the women but helped him be open to the experience. Even though he did not find love while filming, he did find something more valuable, personal acceptance.

Our collective hearts broke for Bryce as we watched what he thought was fireworks between Chloe actually turn into a dud. Even though the sailor did not win the Essex’s girl’s heart, he formed his own, deeper connections with the help of the retreat and the workshops. The reality star used his Hollywood vibe to win over fans, the cast, and the narrator acting like he was James Bond. Since leaving the retreat, Bryce feels his life is different as he is not searching for validation through sex like he used to. Fans will remember he opened about struggling with weight issues when he was young and how the bullying hurt him so much so that it's carried on into his adult life.

Post-Too Hot to Handle, Bryce revealed that he feels much more comfortable in his own skin. He even played a song he had written on the piano on his boat that represented a first date experience and connecting right away with that person. The lyrics shared how he became stronger and after meeting the perfect girl a piece of his heart was missing as she walked away. The retreat made a man out of him and the reality star was proud to have found a woman he wanted to spend his time with. Fans believed he was singing about his girlfriend, Nicole O’Brien, who also participated in the show and hails from Ireland. Though he didn't actually address his relationship with his co-star, it seems things are getting pretty serious, as Nicole wants Bryce to meet her family.

Bryce is still locked down on his cozy boat and alone as far as fans know. Bryce acknowledges that the feedback from fans warmed his heart and believed he had one of the best experiences of his life by participating in the show. He is very much looking forward to reuniting with his friends from the cast when the social distancing orders have been lifted.
