“The High Note” Heading To Premium VOD

Focus Features and Working Title comedy “The High Note” is bypassing a theatrical run and will premiere May 29th on premium VOD, skipping its originally planned May 8th theatrical run.

Set in the world of the Los Angeles music scene, the story follows Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross), a superstar whose talent and ego have reached unbelievable heights, and her overworked personal assistant (Dakota Johnson), whose dreams of becoming a music producer lead to a plan that could change their lives forever.

Nisha Ganatra helms the feel-good comedy which co-stars Kelvin Harrison, Jr., Zoe Chao, Bill Pullman, Eddie Izzard and Ice Cube. Check out the just released trailer below:
