Which Seinfeld Character Are You, Based On Your Zodiac?
It's fun to imagine the zodiac signs of the most popular characters on Seinfeld. Whether it's Kramer (Michael Richards), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Jerry Seinfeld himself, or George (Jason Alexander), the main characters on this famous sitcom have such vibrant personalities that it's cool to think where they fit into the astrological framework. And the more minor characters are so interesting and funny that they also deserve some attention, too.
Whether heading over to Monk's for a cup of coffee or a meal, going on awkward dates, or hanging out at Jerry's place, the gang on Seinfeld always act in a predictably hilarious and silly way. Which Seinfeld character are you, based on your zodiac? Read on to find out.
12 Aquarius: Kenny Bania
Kenny Bania (Stephen Hytner) is not Jerry's favorite person... not at all. But he's a hilarious Seinfeld character and he sounds like an Aquarius, especially because these signs hate when someone doesn't keep their promise.
Kenny is famous for the season six episode "The Soup" when Jerry owes him a meal and figures that buying him soup is enough. Kenny says, "Soup's not a meal. You're supposed to buy me a meal." Kenny can't handle the idea that Jerry wouldn't keep this promise.
11 Pisces: George Costanza
George is a super funny character on Seinfeld and he's also very emotional. Someone who is a Pisces sign will see their own personality traits reflected in George.
George loves pouring out his soul to his best friend Jerry and explaining all of the feelings and thoughts that he's having. He doesn't like when people insult him or tell him that he's doing something wrong, but he's also happy to chat with a stranger or someone he meets at a party.
10 Aries: Morty Seinfeld
Fire signs have a lot of passion and strong opinions and that sounds like Morty Seinfeld (Barney Martin), Jerry's father. Someone who is an Aries sign will see themselves in this character.
Morty is an Aries because he isn't always happy and he can get upset very quickly. One perfect example is when he hates that doctors make patients wait in the waiting room... and then the actual room where the doctor will see them. He gets upset about very small things like this.
9 Taurus: Jerry Seinfeld
Jerry Seinfeld is an incredibly stubborn guy who hates when things don't go his way. That's exactly the way that a Taurus sign would act.
To say that Jerry is particular is an understatement. He likes his apartment the way that he set it up, he hates when travel plans get changed, and as a stand-up comic, he likes doing whatever he wants and making his own schedule. He doesn't want to compromise but he's okay with some kinds of commitment since he's made a great career for himself.
8 Gemini: Helen Seinfeld
Since Gemini signs can feel anxious, that sounds a lot like Jerry's mom Helen Seinfeld (Liz Sheridan).
Helen is a sweet person and a good mom, but she does fret and worry a lot. Every time she visits Jerry, he visits her, or they talk on the phone, she doesn't seem very happy. Geminis can be very friendly toward strangers but they can also get very worried about things.
7 Cancer: Frank Costanza
Cancer signs can get into negative frames of mind and they also don't enjoy spending time with people who they don't know. Frank Costanza (Jerry Stiller) is just like that.
Frank isn't very friendly at all, and his feelings get hurt very easily. He also likes spending time at home and wants things to be a certain way.
6 Leo: Cosmo Kramer
If any Seinfeld fans are Leos, then their character is Kramer. Leos are leaders who aren't shy and who really want people to talk to them, look at them, and compliment them.
With his various business ideas and the joy that he feels when women flirt with him, Kramer is exactly like the description of Leo signs. He can also be pretty stubborn, especially because he wants to live life a certain way (like when he sets up a lawn chair outside his apartment door or steals food from Jerry all the time).
5 Virgo: Elaine Benes
Every zodiac sign can sound like the worst if people think about their negative personality traits. Virgos sometimes don't have the best reputation since these signs get upset when their house is messy, want their lives to look a certain way, and get upset about the smallest details.
Some examples of why Elaine is a Virgo include when she feels bad about the apartment that she lives in and wants to move and when she can't believe that her boyfriend doesn't include an exclamation point when writing a note about a phone message.
4 Libra: Estelle Costanza
George's mom Estelle (Estelle Harris) would be a Libra. She's a colorful personality with a lot of creativity, and fans can always hear her voice in their heads, as it always sounds like she's yelling. She's a very passionate person.
Estelle can feel sorry for herself and doesn't like to forgive people who have wronged her, but she doesn't necessarily want to argue with someone, which are all traits of a Libra sign.
3 Scorpio: Newman
Wayne Knight's Seinfeld character, Newman, sounds a lot like a Scorpio. These fire signs can get pretty worked up, which Newman does pretty much anytime he even looks at Jerry, who is his nemesis.
Scorpios have a real problem with people who keep secrets or who tell lies. Newman gets upset when he thinks that people are keeping something from him. He spends most of his screen time on Seinfeld in a bad mood or scheming.
2 Sagittarius: J. Peterman
John O'Hurley's Seinfeld character, J. Peterman, is Elaine's boss and also pretty quirky. Sagittarius signs like travel and that's definitely Peterman, who says that he took up residence in Burma for a time, and who has many travel tales.
Sagittarius signs also sometimes exaggerate what they can give someone, and anytime he or Elaine has a business idea, Peterman gets all excited about it and wants to make it happen. He's not really big on the follow-through, though, and isn't a very practical person.
1 Capricorn: Uncle Leo
Uncle Leo (Len Lesser) cares about his family and expects a lot from Jerry. A running joke on the sitcom is that he wants Jerry to say hi to him. Capricorns are traditional which is a quality that Uncle Leo has, and they sometimes insult others because they act like they're more intelligent than everyone around them.
If a Seinfeld fan is a Capricorn, then Leo is definitely their character.
