What Happened to Matthew 'Jesus' Smith After Netflix's Too Hot To Handle

Many readers might have been wondering what Jesus-lookalike Matthew Stephen Smith is doing these days after Too Hot To Handle. Well, after leaving the show, he has been focusing on his modeling career, managing his business, and surprisingly enough, even landed a role to play Jesus in a four-minute film.

When all the guys entered the show in their boxers, Matthew was the only one who was covered from top to bottom and still looked very desirable. He walked in with his Greek god physique while wearing his fashionable black harem pants, white t-shirt and beanie. At first, he seemed like the only guy who understood the purpose of the retreat. He genuinely tried his best to resist sexual temptations and pursue a romantic affair. Too bad, he still couldn’t find the one for him.

The creative genius is doing a lot of photoshoots these days to advance his modeling career, and also acted as the aforementioned Jesus Christ in a short film (hallelujah). At the same time, he’s heading a multimedia company called Dream Katchers Enterprise that specializes in event planning and content creation. He is also promoting a clothing brand named M8W. He seems like a jack of all trades as he has also written a children’s book, Windy, available on Amazon.

The fans of the 30-year-old model cum actor would be happy to know that he has also appeared in America's Next Top Model. However, they might have to look a little harder for him as the actor had a completely different look throughout that show. Meanwhile, Mathew has over 489,000 followers on Instagram and according to his feed, he still seems to be single.

The viewers would agree that this LA-based model holds an unusual personality, and maybe that's the reason why he was not able to form deeper connections with any of the female participants on the show. He often felt challenged to form romantic relationships, which eventually led him to quit in between.  Still, he was one of the funniest characters and the show won't have been this entertaining without his presence. Remember when he became a "sex cop" who was making sure that nobody on the retreat was breaking the rules laid down by Lana? It was hilarious!
