‘Avengers: Endgame’ Directors Share Theater Reaction To Huge Iron Man Moment
The Russo Brothers, the directors of last year’s mega-hit, Avengers: Endgame, have shared a theater audience’s reaction to the film’s big Iron Man moment.
Last year’s Avengers: Endgame was full of surprises that all peaked with a massive climactic battle Thanos. Among these surprises, however, was the death of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man at the film’s end. During the film’s final battle, Thanos and several of the heroes get into a fight over the gauntlet holding the Infinity Stones. Ultimately none of the characters we’re able to wrest the gauntlet from Thanos, prompting Iron Man to take the Infinity Stones off before snapping Thanos and his army out of existence.
Sadly the strain that the snap put on Iron Man was too much and the character died soon after, surrounded by his friends and loved ones. Earlier today, Avengers: Endgame‘s directors shared an audience’s reaction to Iron Man’s final battle with Thanos. You can see the full reaction below:
