Ben Affleck’s Batman Gets Jim Lee Inspired Batsuit In Cool Fan Art
Ben Affleck’s Batman gets a new Jim Lee inspired batsuit in a cool new piece of fanart.
Ben Affleck first appeared as Batman in the 2016 film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While reviews for the film were mixed at best, many people seemed to agree that Ben Affleck was otherwise fantastic in the role. Unfortunately, the wight of the role took its toll and Ben Affleck dropped out of the role before eventually admitting to losing his passion for the character and concerns over his sobriety.
This has not stopped fans from continuing to imagine what Ben Affleck could have looked like as Batman. Ben Affleck’s version of Batman notably had one of the most comic accurate outfits ever put on screen, often drawing comparisons to the Jim Lee version of Batman from the 2002-2003 Batman comic, Hush. Now, digital artist jscomicart has imagined what Ben Affleck may have looked like if they had stuck even closer to the comics. You can see the full Jim Lee inspired image below:

After dropping out of the role, Robert Pattinson replaced Ben Affleck as the caped crusader for Matt Reeves’ upcoming film, The Batman. Full plot details on the upcoming film are currently being kept under wraps, but we know that the film will revolve around a younger version of Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow the Dark Knight during his early years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the hero’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new Batman trilogy with Robert Pattinson.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
The Batman is currently set to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
